We are thrilled to share a new chapter that begins for us here at The Kitty Kampung effective January 2025! We have decided to pivot over fully to care for your beloved kitties from boarding to in-home cat sitting.
Why so?
This decision follows our experiences and observations of running our cosy li'l kitty hotel since 2022. While our low-stress handling techniques and efforts have hugely paid off to witness our kitty guests settle in more smoothly - we have come to discover that truly nothing beats the comfort and safety of home, due to the unique nature of our furry cat friends.
We have personally witnessed a complete difference in the behaviour of furfriends 😍who first came to stay with us at boarding and subsequently pivoted over to home-based sitting - and are convinced that this is indeed the care option that offers the lowest amount of stress to them.
Personalised Home Kitty Sitting service
With our personalised Home Kitty Sitting services, your furbabies will be able to maintain their daily usual routines, avoid the stress of travel and having to adapt to a foreign environment, as well as enjoy one-on-one attention while you are away. Right from the get-go, it has been our mission to allow kitty families (such as ourselves!) to take a break and enjoy quality time with loved ones by providing the highest level of care to all our kitties and thereby the assurance with a peace of mind to kitty families. This move allows us to do precisely that!
Other benefits
While stress minimisation is our key motivation, as kitty pawrents ourselves we've taken note also of other plus points to home-based care!
Health records no longer a pre-requisite – this is a huge plus! Without the mandatory health records, we have had to turn away kitty families requiring care services for their furbabies.
Zero fuss for multiple kitty households – one kitty or five? Because we are coming to you, kitty families won't need to lift a finger even with multiple furbabies.
Lower cost – consider that there are no requirements to engage home-based care services (e.g. mandatory vet visits and test results, required items to be housed within their accommodation space, paying a premium for lofts and suites when your home is 100x bigger and of zero-additional charge to you, transportation and logistics etc.)
Other household animal / plant friends – let us know if you have other living being friends at home as well to be worked into a comfortable arrangement!
